The Agriculture Ministry sees need to reintroduce an export embargo on grain, the head of the ministry announced on Monday. Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov said that Russia's grain-harvest forecast for this year was 85 million tons and that the export potential stood at 20 million tons.
"We see no prerequisites requiring us to threaten anyone with embargos or some other levers and mechanisms," Interfax quoted Fyodorov as saying on Monday.
