IFC plans to invest EUR70m in two Croatia's projects

The International Finance Cooperation will be investing in two Croatian projects, newswires reported June 18.
According to information on IFC's website, the plan is to provide financing of up to EUR55m for a greenfield wind power plant totalling 43.7 megawatts. IFC is also set to lend EUR15m to the Croatian unit of Italy's Same Deutz-Fahr Group (SDF). The money will assist in introducing harvesting technology into the Croatian company and gearing it to become a major exporter and distribution center for Europe. SDF Croatia is a producer of combine harvesters.
The IFC is the World Bank's private sector arm.
