Ukraine. Retail turnover 15.5% up - State Statistics Service

Retail turnover made up UAH 287.7 billion in January-May 2012 in Ukraine, which is 15.5% up in comparable prices against January-May 2011.
The State Statistics Service of Ukraine informs.
According to the State Statistics Service, Kyiv leads as to retail turnover (UAH 38.289 billion), as well as Donetsk region (UAH 28.299 billion). The least retail turnover volume was observed in Sevastopol (UAH 3.238 billion) and Chernivtsi region (UAH 3.962 billion).
The largest retail turnover growth was fixed in the Crimea (+19.8%), whereas the lowest - in Lviv region (+9%).
As reported by UKRINFORM, retail turnover made up UAH 224.2 billion in January-April 2012 in Ukraine.
