Industrial Milk Company (WSE: IMC) will issue bonds UAH 200 M

According to the official press release of the company on the Warsaw Stock Exchange the company will issue bonds total worth of UAH 200 M (USD 25 M) in the nearest future. The issuer is one of the subsidiaries of IMC, “Burat-Agro” (Poltavska region) while the bonds are secured by Chernigiv Industrial Milk Company. According to the terms of share emission they will mature on June 26 2014, with annual rate of 14%, providing quarterly payments. Time and date of the procedure are yet to be announced.
AgroInvest comment: Such step of Ukrainian holding will be a good indicator regarding perceptions of foreign investors in regard to Ukrainian companies. Secured bonds are usually in high demand as they will provide stable return over time. However, still remaining in the zone with high turbulence, IMC might face problems securing the investment funds. Nevertheless, we predict successful operation by the holding.
