Poland. Government passes 2013 budget guidelines with GDP growth at 2.9%

The cabinet has accepted the macroeconomic guidelines to the 2013 state budget draft at its sitting, according to its press office. The guidelines are as follows: GDP growth at 2.9% (vs. 2.5% expected this year) and the average annual inflation at 2.7%.
These figures are in line with the forecasts included in the guidelines passed in May and presented to the Tripartite Commission (i.e. representatives of government, employers' and employees' organizations).
The cabinet now approved of the central budget deficit limit at PLN 32bn (also in line with earlier announcements) and projected the registered unemployment rate at 12.4% in December of 2013 (vs. 12.3% projected for this December and compared to 12.9% in April).
The average wage's growth is expected at 5.6%, while the minimum wage will rise to PLN 1600 from PLN 1500, PM Donald Tusk has announced.
