Agribusiness can be funded from both traditional and alternative sources - expert

Ukrainian agricultural companies are experiencing an acute shortage of funding for business development, modernization of logistics and introduction of bioenergy technologies. At the same time, according to experts, Ukrainian farmers now as never have a tremendous opportunity to receive funding for their needs not only from traditional, but also from alternative sources.
Such opportunities will be presented at the East Ukrainian Agrarian Forum, Business Financing: Opportunities in Ukraine and Abroad, which will be held in Kharkiv May 25, the law firm ILF, which is organizing the forum, told UKRINFORM.
"The event will last one day and consist of several sessions devoted to various aspects of business financing. The programs of state support for the agro-industrial complex, investment fund projects and banking products will be presented. In addition, Andriy Dubetsky, CEO at the Representative Office of the Warsaw Stock Exchange in Ukraine, will tell farmers about the possibilities of raising funds on different floors of the stock exchange," ILF managing partner Tetiana Havrysh informed.
She said the forum will become a place of agricultural companies' productive dialogue with potential business partners, creditors and investors, as well as creating conditions for new investment projects.
