Kyrgyz government approves creation of State Development Bank

The Kyrgyz government approved creation of the State Development Bank. The respective decree was signed by Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov on May 14, reported Tazabek.
The draft law on the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was sent to the Parliament for consideration. Minister of Economy and Anti-Monopoly Policy Temir Sariev will be official representative of the government during consideration of the bill in Parliament.
The Bank will accumulate the funds from investments, efficient management of state assets, revenues from good management of financial tools and other resources from the operations of the Bank, according to the draft law.
The main goal of the Bank will be diversification and stimulation of the national economy of Kyrgyzstan through investments, including investments into big national projects on commercial conditions.
