GDP growth 4.5% - National Bank

The National Bank of Ukraine estimates the growth in gross domestic product (GDP) in Ukraine in 2010 at around 4.5%. This was reported on the website of the central bank.
"We estimate GDP growth in the 4th quarter compared to the 3rd quarter at 2% excluding seasonal factors. Real GDP growth for the year, according to our estimates, amounted to about 4.5%," the report indicates.
As reported, Ukraine's GDP in the third quarter of 2010 increased compared to third quarter of 2009 by 3.4% in constant prices of 2007. GDP growth in the second quarter amounted to 5.9%, in the first quarter 4.9%.
The official forecast of economic growth for 2010 was 3.7%. In 2011, the government forecasts GDP growth of 4.5%.
