Ukraine will not join the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

Deputy Chairman of the Party of Regions faction and President of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE) Anatoliy Kinakh has said on air of the Fifth Channel, UKRINFORM correspondent reports.

"We will not join the Customs Union, I want to say it responsibly," Kinakh said.

At the same time, he emphasized: Ukraine has interests both in the EU and in Russia, which is confirmed by concrete statistics. In particular, according to the ULIE President, over 20 years of Ukraine's independence, investments of the European Union countries in Ukraine make up almost 80% of the total volume and the investment import, i.e. advanced technologies and equipment amount to 40%. At the same time, Russia is the market of our products and turnover between our countries made up USD 56 billion in 2011 alone.

"I am convinced that we have to look for such a policy, when deepening of the European integration should not worsen conditions for enhancement of equal cooperation with Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. We should be present where there is a Ukrainian interest," Kinakh stressed.
