Farmers attract loans for 27 billion UAH

The debt of agricultural companies to banks for November 2010 increased by 0.1 billion UAH (1 USD - 7.96 UAH).
At the end of November last year, the arrears of agricultural enterprises to banks amounted to 26.9 billion UAH. This is stated in the analytical review of the NBU.
In November, there was a slowdown both in the outstanding loan growth rates against the previous month (from 0.8% to 0.2%) and in the pace of the debt reduction on an annualized basis (from minus 6.7% to minus 0.7%).
The conduct by the National Bank of Ukraine of the policy of restricting lending in foreign currency determined the upward momentum of debts on the loans in national currency and the downward momentum on loans in foreign currency (on an annualized basis, respectively by 7.8% and minus 20.6%).
