Despite investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector and the processing industry, in Ukraine, there are many restrictions in those sectors that hamper an inflow of foreign capital, Chief Economist of the Investment Committee SigmaBleyzer and former Director of the World Bank representation in Ukraine Edilberto Segura has said.

According to the expert, investments can be also attracted by the sphere of technologies and innovations, since in Ukraine there are enough highly qualified specialists who can form the basis for outsourcing orders. In particular, it concerns the sphere of computer technology and software.

The tourist sphere is also investment-attractive, Segura noted. "The Ukrainian Diaspora is rather large and many want to come to their Motherland. In addition, Ukrainian traditions and architecture can also attract tourists. But there are only several hotels in the Kyiv center, which are not enough for such a large and interesting city. And this is not an issue of hotel business, but of total infrastructure development."
