Focus of the day: Global indices fall, UAIndex advances

Just as it was assumed yesterday, European indices followed U.S. major indices and opened with a decline after a short holiday period. Growing European debt problems and seeming lack of the issue leads to massive selling of stocks, especially those that hold EU debt. The demand for more conservative stocks rises, such commodity producers, even if they carry higher risk (as with UAIndex components). We may also suggest that there is a certain lag and UAIndex will follow drop of major indices.
AgroInvest comment: second quarter of 2012 started with a grim note, however we still suggest growth in broader terms, at leasat for agricultural companies that are most active during this period.
