The purchase of state-owned stakes in enterprises by large foreign investors is unlikely next year, Head of the State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine Oleksandr Riabchenko has said.

"We will most likely fail to see a large foreign investor next year," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday, Apr. 9.

Riabchenko said that Ukrainian financial and industrial groups were currently ready to offer a higher price for state property than their foreign competitors.

As reported, the State Property Fund will put up for sale this year a number of large energy assets, including energy generating companies and regional energy and gas supplying companies.
