Capitalisation of companies trading on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange may increase to 7 trillion in 2012

Speaking with the Interfax agency, the president of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, Kadyrzhan Damitov said that capitalization would increase in 2012. However, he did not anticipate the rising cost of corporate and government bonds, saying only that at the beginning of the year, these figures were 40 and 16.5 billion US dollars respectively. Currently, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange is trading shares of 66 issuers.
