Generali OFE increases its stake in Ovostar Union

Generali OFE originating from Warsaw increased its stake in Ovostar Union from 12.01% to 12.15%, as the number of shares in Ovostar Union that belong to Generali OFE grew from 720,726 (12.01% of the share capital) to 729,226. Ovostar Union reported strong financial results for 2011 in March 2011.
AgroInvest comment: Such action indicates an ongoing interest of Poland in Ukrainian agricultural sector in general and in Ukrainian agro holdings in particular. This shows potential for Ukrainian companies on Warsaw Stock Exchange this year, especially including New Connect platform.
