Denmark raises 2012 growth outlook

The Danish central bank on Wednesday revised up its outlook of economic growth for this year, and maintained the estimate for 2013.
A report from the central bank said the economy is now expected to grow 1.2 percent this year, faster than the 1.1 percent growth forecast earlier. The latest figure is also higher than the 1 percent growth recorded last year.
The outlook of private consumption growth for 2012 has been maintained at 1.1 percent, while the forecast of government consumption growth was revised up to 0.9 percent from 0.8 percent.
Denmark's exports are expected to grow 1.9 percent this year, faster than the 1.8 percent growth forecast earlier.
The bank also confirmed its GDP forecast for 2013 at 1.6 percent, and provided initial estimates for 2014. The GDP is expected to grow 1.7 percent in 2014.
