Kyrgyzstan has shown the worst results in terms of GDP among all CIS countries in 2011 against 2000 levels.
Kyrgyzstan’s economy has shown the worst results compared to the 2000 level among the Central Asian countries, CA-NEWS reports citing the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS. Thus, if one takes the 2000 GDP rate at 100%, in 2011 the GDP of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan more than doubled and Kyrgyzstan’s GDP had only a 1.5-fold increase. 2005 and 2010 were the most unfortunate as the first and second revolutions took place specifically at that time in Kyrgyzstan.
