Kyrgyzstan plans to join Common Economic Space by late 2012

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev said on «Echo of Moscow» radio that Kyrgyzstan’s WTO membership does not prevent it from joining the Common Economic Space. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev hopes that Kyrgyzstan will join the Common Economic Space before the end of 2012, CA-NEWS reported. Bishkek assured that Kyrgyzstan’s WTO membership does not prevent the country from joining the Common Economic Space. Atambayev noted that, perhaps both Russia and Kazakhstan will join the WTO in 2012.
