Net profit of Belarusian agricultural enterprises triple in 2011

In 2011 net profit of Belarusian agricultural enterprises tripled in comparison with 2010 to reach Br3.9 trillion, representatives of the National Statistics Committee told BelTA.
Proceeds from sales totaled Br30.4 trillion, 85.1% up on 2010. Profitability of sold products and services amounted to 12.7% as against minus 1.3% in 2010. Profitability of sales amounted to 10.1% as against minus 1.1% in 2010.
In 2011 14 agricultural enterprises (0.9% of the total) had a net loss of Br36.4 billion. In 2010 36 agricultural enterprises (2.2% of the total) had a net loss of Br67.7 billion.
Agricultural enterprises accounted for 28.3% of the total overdue accounts payable in Belarus. The overdue accounts payable exceeded overdue accounts receivable by 5.6 times.
