French company to invest 300 million euros in alternative energy in Kherson region

Total investment in the construction in Kherson region (south of Ukraine) by French company Beten Ingenierie of alternative energy facilities is 300 million euros. This was stated by the Chairman of Kherson Regional State Administration Mykola Kostiak at a meeting with industrialists, businessmen, heads of security agencies, licensing and regulatory authorities in the region.
According to him, in two districts of the region where this project will be implemented, preparatory work has already begun.
The memorandum of intent on implementation of the project in the field of green energy, the construction of a wind and sun power complex in Kherson region, was signed between the Kherson Regional State Administration and French company Beten Ingenierie on September 8, 2010.
