Kazakhstan’s mutual trade with the Customs Union member countries grew by 40.8% to 24.526 billion US dollars in 2011, according to the report by the Kazakh Statistics Agency. Exports totaled 7.618 billion US dollars while imports reached 16.908 billion US dollars. Kazakhstan’s exports consisted mainly of mineral products, metals and goods made of them, as well as chemical products. Kazakhstan imports machinery and equipment, mineral products, metals and their products from Russia and Belarus.
