Moldova is planning to increase trade with Ukraine to EUR 1 billion, Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat has said in an interview with UKRINFORM.
"Our immediate goal is to bring the volume of trade to a record mark of one billion euros," he said.
Filat said that current trade figures, despite the significant dynamics of growth, do not correspond to the real potential of the two countries.
"Therefore, it is necessary to focus our joint efforts on the creation of favorable conditions for bilateral trade, and, if necessary, to remove barriers that appear on the way towards increasing its volume," the Moldovan prime minister said.
