Antimonopoly committee allows Glencore International buying PJSC Kolos

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has allowed Glencore International AG (Switzerland) to acquire PJSC Kolos (Kharkiv region) through its subsidiary Glencore International Netherlands BV, the AMCU press office reported.
PJSC Kolos engages in the production of unrefined oils and fats, products of the milling industry.
Glencore supplies metals, minerals, crude oil, refined products, coal and agricultural products to its customers in the automotive, metals, food and energy sectors. In May last year, Glencore held a successful IPO, in which $10 billion was saved.
Earlier it was reported that Glencore and the mining company Xstrata agreed to merge to create a vertically integrated raw-material group with a total market value of $90 billion.
