Ukraine’s grains exports may be 2 million tons

Ukraine’s grain exports will probably total 2 million metric tons this month, Interfax-Ukraine reported, citing Serhiy Kvasha, head of the agriculture markets department at the Agriculture Ministry.
The former Soviet state has shipped 11.8 million tons of grain since the beginning of this marketing year, which started July 1, including 422,000 tons in February, Kvasha said today, according to the news agency.
Corn accounted for 6.74 million tons, wheat shipments were 2.96 million tons, while barley exports totaled 1.9 million tons, Interfax said, citing Kvasha.
