Cabinet planning to invest over UAH 100 b in economy

In 2011, the government plans to invest in the economy over UAH 100 billion (1 USD - 7.96 UAH), First Vice Prime Minister and Economic Development and Trade Minister Andriy Kliuyev has said.
"We will very seriously include the investment component into the Program of social-economic development for 2011 and 2012. For 2011, we want to invest over UAH 100 billion in the economy for development of our production and creation of working places," he said.
According to forecasts of analysts of the Forex Club in Ukraine, the volume of direct investments in 2011 can grow by 15.7% tо USD 5.4 billion.
The company Ernst & Young believes that this year western investors will pay attention to the agriculture, processing of products, retail and the financial sector.
