Ukraine. Traders export about 10.5 million tons of grain

On January 19 this year, traders exported about 10.5 million tons of grain, according to Serhiy Stoyanov, director general of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.
"Farmers have already exported about 10.5 million tons of grain. Specifically, wheat was shipped in the amount of 2.9 million tons, barley 1.9 million tons and corn more than 5.5 million tons. The exports are very poor," the expert said.
According to the agriculture ministry, since the beginning of MY 2011/12, Ukraine has exported 9.65 million tons of grain, which is 2.86 million tons more than last year.
