Ukraine. Yuzhny seaport boosts cargo turnover by fourth

In 2011, freight turnover of state enterprise commercial seaport Yuzhny made up UAH 22.639 million tons. This is the largest result over the whole history of the enterprise existence. Prior to that, freight turnover of 2008 at 21.697 million tons was considered to be the highest, the enterprise's press service informs.
Against 2010 (18.221 million tons), freight turnover grew by 24.24%
Over the year, ore had the largest share in the nomenclature of handled cargos - 10.379 million tons. Also, among main freights, there were carbamide, ammonium and coal.
Transit volume against 2010 grew by 35.4% tо 10.552 million tons.
Over 12 months, 880 ships were handled and 183,381 freight cars.
