Grain export 12.5-13 million tons in H2 2011/2012 MY - UAC

In H2, 2011/2012 marketing year, export of Ukrainian grain will be 12.5-13 million tons, this forecast was made public by experts of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.
According to their calculations, by results of the year, it will not be possible to reach the balance index of 26 million tons.
Director General of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation Serhiy Stoyanov notes that stocks of grain in the country, as of July 1, could make up over 12 million tons, "having turned into unplanned "transit stocks," actually formed on the backdrop of the regulated market. This may become an absolute record, or rather the anti-record!"
"And 2012/2013 marketing year will be not similar to any previous years with its possible, our internal wheat "problems," new record-making yield of corn, sunflower seed and soya." Stoyanov prognosticates.
