EBRD could invest UAH 204 m in UkrSibbank

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) could invest UAH 204 million in UkrSibbank as part of a cooperation program, the bank's press office has reported.
The final decision on the provision of investment will be made on January 31, 2012.
The EBRD owns a 15% stake in UkrSibbank.
Earlier, UkrSibbank decided to increase its authorized capital by 18%, to UAH 8.87 billion.
The EBRD is the largest financial investor in Ukraine. As of late 2011, the bank had contributed more than EUR 7 billion (USD 9.3 billion) through 287 projects.
