Russian ruble quite stable, Ukrainian banker says

The Chairman of Ukraine’s National Bank Sergey Arbuzov believes that it would be quite beneficial for Ukraine to pay to Russia for certain goods and services in Russian rubles.
This will help Ukraine economize its gold and currency reserves, Mr. Arbuzov says.
“It won’t be risky at all for Ukraine to pay to Russia with rubles in, say, 10% of the bargains,” the banker says. “Besides, it will allow Ukrainian goods’ producers to choose in what currency to pay to Russia. At the same time, I don’t rule out that some of the payments may be made in dollars.”
