The Government is going to leave in 2012 to pre-crisis level of development - in 2011 year it has been managed to stabilize domestic economy. This was stressed by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Summing up the work of the Government, Mykola Azarov noted that 2011 year was "challenging, but crucial," marked by real positive results of anti-crisis policy, while in 2010 on the agenda stood the physical survival of the national economy. Last year the Government in the mode of austerity has begun accumulating financial resources for the beginning of overcoming the crisis.
«And in 2011 there was the second stage of overcoming the crisis in Ukraine», - the Prime Minister said, adding that it was achieved reduction of state budget deficit by stabilizing the economy. According to him, in 2009 the general government deficit reached almost the largest in Europe marks - 18%, then in 2010 the government managed to reduce it to less than 5%, and the current year budget deficit would not exceed 3.5%.

Moreover, Mykola Azarov noted that the second positive of the Government in 2011 is curb inflation, which by the end of 2011 for the first time in many years has not exceed 5%, while in 2008 inflation was 25% in 2010 - 9.1% . In addition, the PM said that for two consecutive years the national currency is stable.

«Thanks to this in 2012 we expect to reach pre-crisis level of development. But we are not required for the performance indicators. All the work of our Government, we were focused on restoring and strengthening the national economy. Why? Because it's the only way to give the citizens of Ukraine stable earnings and social security» - Mykola said Azarov.
