Agrobanka AD Beograd (AGBN) plans a 50 million-euro ($65.3 million) to 100 million-euro capital increase next year, Beta news agency reported, citing the bank’s executive board chairman.
The government, the single-biggest shareholder with a 20.1 percent stake that may be raised to 25 percent by the end of the month, has given preliminary consent for the increase that aims to boost Agrobanka’s capacity to finance agribusinesses, the report quoted Dusan Antonic as saying.
