Ukrainian companies triple net profit

Ukrainian companies received net profit UAH 55.066 billion in January-September 2011, which was 3.1 times more than in the same period in 2010, the State Statistics Service has reported.
A total of 57.4% of companies reported profit over this period (UAH 123.91 billion), which was 62.3% more than in January-September 2010.
At the same time, 42.6% of enterprises operated at a loss, and their negative financial result rose by 17.6%, to UAH 68.84 billion.
As reported, the net profit of Ukrainian enterprises in 2010 reached UAH 13.906 billion.
