NBU: Inflation may be less 10% in 2010

By results of 2010, inflation in Ukraine can appear to be less than 10% for the first time since 2003, Head of the Group of Advisors to the NBU Governor Valeriy Lytvytsky told a press conference on Friday.
He underscored that "On the eve of the New Year, the economic state is estimated as healthy." "A growth will complete on the up note," he said
"Undoubtedly, annual inflation will be less against the previous year (12.3%), second - less than the budget target (13.1%)," the expert is convinced.
"It stops to be a theory that it can become less than 10% for the first time since 2003," he added.
According to the State Statistics Service, inflation in Ukraine in November 2010 against October was 0.3%, since the year start (against December 2009) - 8.2%.
