Ukraine. IFC can provide USD 5 m to Mriya to increase effectiveness of four sugar mills

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), as part of the Cleaner Production Loan Facility, may provide a five-year loan of up to USD 5 million to the Mriya agricultural holding.
The funds are to be allocated to fulfill the recommendations of the corporation's experts to increase the effectiveness of four out of six sugar mills of the agricultural holding in Ternopil region, in terms of their reducing the consumption of electricity, water and carbon dioxide emissions.
The total project cost is USD 12.5 million.
As reported, Mriya is already cooperating with IFC. In 2011, the agricultural holding attracted USD 60 million from the corporation in order to develop its activities.
