The total market capitalization of twenty Ukrainian agricultural companies is $5.4 billion, which exceeds their value recorded ten days ago by 4.5%.
The best indicators of growth were reported by the agricultural sector's largest companies, Kernel and MHP, the price of whose shares rose by 9% and 13%, respectively.
At the same time, four agricultural holdings of the twenty demonstrated a slight decrease in their value.
This trend was due mainly to a general revival of trade in international markets, in particular on the Frankfurt and Warsaw stock exchanges, where Ukrainian agricultural holdings are mostly traded.
In July-August 2011, capitalization of 14 Ukrainian agroindustrial companies that are listed on international stock exchanges decreased by $1.4 billion.
