Ukraine first gets to E&Y rating of countries attractive for 'green' investments

Ukraine has first got into the rating of countries attractive for renewable energy investment, which is made by the auditing company Ernst&Young, taking in it the 32nd place out of 40.
Experts say that Ukraine has a considerable potential for renewable energy development, particularly, in the field of wind energy.
At the same time, E&Y experts drew attention to the complexity of licensing procedures for potential investors, as well as problems associated with the connection of 'green' energy sources to the integrated power grids.
The rating list is headed by China, USA, Germany, India, Italy and Brazil.
E&Y quarterly calculates country indexes of investment attractiveness for the development of energy from renewable sources.
