WB downgrades inflation forecast to 9.8%

The World Bank has downgraded the forecast of the inflation rate in Ukraine in 2010 to 9.8%, senior economist of the WB Representation for Ukraine Ruslan Piontkovsky told a press conference.
Inflation in Ukraine in 2011 is forecasted at 10.7%, in 2012 - 8.9%.
In July, the World Bank has forecasted inflation in Ukraine in 2010 at 11.9%, external debt - 79.8% of GDP.
According to the State Statistics Service, inflation in Ukraine in November 2010 against October made up 0.3%, since the year start (against December 2009) - 8.2%. Against November 2009, the inflation index makes up 9.2%, whereas against January-November 2009 - 9.4%.
