IMF To Eye Allocation Of Second Stand By Tranche By On December 22

The Board of directors of the International Monetary Fund will consider the possibility of allocation of the second stand by tranche to Ukraine on December 22, the IMF said.
Therefore, on December 22, the IMF may approve the first revision of the stand by program on co-operation with Ukraine .
It is expected that the second tranche will amount to USD 1.6 billion, of which about USD 1 billion will be channeled for support of the state budget.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov expected the IMF to consider the program on December 20.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the executive board of the International Monetary Fund decided on July 28 to disburse USD 15.15 billion to Ukraine over a period of 2.5 years under a new Standby loan program.
